Annual DellOsso Mud Run Slated Saturday
Dell-Osso-FarmsLogo500

The Dell’Osso Family is inviting boys and girls, men and women of all ages to their annual Mud Run on the Farm 5K obstacle-course run, on Saturday, May 19. This extremely popular and wild race is held on the Dell’Osso Family Farm, 501 Manthey Road, in Lathrop.

The outrageous 5K course features approximately 21 obstacles, designed to be difficult, but certainly not impossible. It also promises to be an outrageous good time. If there’s an obstacle that’s too much for you, go around. No shame there. Personal safety is the most important thing. But completion of the obstacles is required to win fast time.

Dell’Osso Family Farm will be donating a portion of the proceeds to benefit The American Cancer Society and other local charity and non-profit organizations.

Mudders will receive a commemorative T-shirt and finisher’s medal, post-race “Beer Garden” with one free beer ticket (only for Mudders 21 years and older), plenty of prizes, and trophies. In addition, parking is free for participants. Entry fee is now $75.

Because of the large number of participants, the Mud Run must start in waves. The first wave goes off at 8 a.m. Participants select their wave time during the registration process. If mudders want to run with a friend or group, they need to be sure to book at the same time or have one person purchase all the individual tickets. Waves are capped at 300 runners. It’s recommend that participants arrive at least an hour before their wave time begins.

Wave times: 8 a.m., 8:20 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 9 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 9:40 a.m., 10 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:20 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 12 p.m. The following may be added: 12:20 p.m., 12:40 p.m., 1 p.m.

Each wave consists of both men and women from every age group. You may register for any available wave.

Early race-packet pick-up will be held on Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18, both days from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Dell’Osso Family Farm Country Store.

Required at Early Race-Packet Pick-up or at Race-Day Check-in: Photo I.D. for each participant, no exceptions, so if you are picking up for a friend you must have a copy of their I.D; an initialed, signed and dated copy of the waiver for each participant; your ticket, either printed or on your Smartphone.

Packets on race day need to be picked up at least an hour before wave time.
