Escalon Wrestling Club 2-26-20

Earlier this month, several Escalon Wrestling Club wrestlers made the trip to Modesto High for a tournament. The team had six medalists and four champions.

Continuing to impress, taking third place were Johnny Van Dyk and Noah Dooley. EWC had four champions on the day.

“Getting better every weekend winning a title was Kaleb Butler, and overwhelming his opponents bringing home another title was Ethan Butler,” said head coach Derek Scott. “Looking great working on some new bottom skills winning a hard fought title was Luca Cerasi. Winning his third title in a row was Frankie Rodriguez.”

The tournament was coached by Carlos Uriarte and Clinton Sizuela and assisted by Derek Scott.
