Dutch Girls rolled their way to the top of the El Portal bowling league, posting a 13-3 mark in recent action.

They were followed by We Been Robbed, U-3 Ranch, 10-3; Bartelink Dairy, Elaine’s Travel, 8-8; What The Heck, Foxie Ladies, 7-9; Escalon Body and Frame, 6-10; Memorial Splitting Headaches, 5½-10½; Better Late Than Never!, 5-11; Pin Ups, 4½-11½.

Susy DeKok had the high scratch game, 183 and high handicap game, 246, for the week, while Cindy Kruger had the high scratch series, 487 and Jeanne Brand had the high handicap series, 663.

For the season to date, Cindy Kruger has the individual high average, 155.67; with Kelly Homen, 504, scratch series; Susy DeKok, 189, scratch game; Jeanne Brand, 663 handicap series; Sandy Cox, 246 handicap game.

Only a couple of vacancies remain on teams; those interested in joining the Thursday, 10 a.m. league at McHenry Bowl in Modesto can just come to the lanes a little early and join the fun. Bowlers support El Portal Science Camp, helping raise funds through the weekly league.
