Mildred Angelica (Johnson) Swanson, 88, of Escalon, died Saturday, March 19 at her home.

A native of Muskegon, MI, she had lived in Escalon for 84 years.

She was a homemaker and shared the love of the family farm. She derived great joy from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, music, her home and her pets.

Survivors include her husband, Clark Swanson of Escalon; daughter Julie Kerney of Cotati; daughters-in-law Linda Swanson of Yuba City and Pam Swanson of Escalon; sister, Linnea Eliason of Ripon; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Peter Swanson and Mark Swanson.

Services will be Wednesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at Saron Lutheran Church, Escalon.

Remembrances may be made to Saron Lutheran Church or Escalon Community Ambulance.
