Lydia Bossert Wendland, 92, of Escalon died June 10, 2004 at Evergreen Rehabilitation Care.
A native of Bismark, North Dakota, she had lived in Escalon for many years. She was a homemaker and worked at the family's chicken ranch.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Esther Wendland of Escalon; sisters, Maggie Fry of North Dakota and Dinah Buckmiller of Washington; two grandchildren, Dennis and Denise; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Wendland; four sisters and one brother.
Services were held previously at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
