Larry W. Elliott passed away peacefully at his home on March 22, 2024 at the age of 77 with his family by his side. He was born December 22, 1946 in Santa Ana, California.

Larry moved to Farmington at the age of 2. He attended Farmington Grammar School and graduated from Escalon High School in 1964. He enlisted in the service after graduation and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He settled in Escalon in 1967 with his wife Pam, and resided there for the remainder of his life. He worked for Sharpe Army Depot and then Tracy Defense Depot for 32 years. Upon retirement, he continued working part-time for JB Hunt Transport Service and Interstate Truck Center. He loved driving trucks, being on the road, and seeing all the places it took him. He was a very hard worker and provided his family with a beautiful life they are forever grateful for.

Larry loved and valued time together with family and friends. He enjoyed being active in sports, hunting, fishing and participating in various clubs.

He was preceded in death by his mother Romayne Smith. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Pam; daughter Denise Berchtold (Craig); grandchildren Trent Berchtold and Emma Berchtold, sisters Carolyn Troedson (Gayle) and Nancy Curci.

Larry was a devoted husband, amazing father, and exceptional Papa. A Celebration of Life, including Veteran Honors will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon CA 95320.
