James Johnson passed away peacefully on June 29, 2019 in Modesto, Ca. at the age of 89 with his loving wife and family by his side. James was born on January 10, 1930 to Lee and Anna Johnson in St. Louis, Mo. James was one of six siblings. When he was 13 years old his family moved out to a dairy in Farmington, Ca. He made little gadgets from carving them out of wood.
James is survived by his wife of 70 years, Irma Johnson, children Jim Johnson (Sandy) of Washington, Mike Johnson (Chris) of Escalon, Ca, Eric Johnson (Linda) of Modesto, Ca, grandchildren Aaron Johnson, Rory Johnson, Jared Johnson, Justin Johnson and George Johnson and nine great grandchildren.
