Dutch Harris, 80, died Thursday, July 17 at his Oakdale home.
Mr. Harris was a native of Michigan, born Aug. 19, 1927. He lived in Oakdale 40 years.
He was a maintenance mechanic at Tri-Valley Growers for 15 years and also worked at the Riverbank Army Ammunition Plant for many years.
He was a 40-year member of the Oakdale Saddle Club.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Harris of Oakdale; children, Eric Harris of Escalon and Elaine Medlin of Texas; sisters, Betty Hinz, Martha Carpenter, Mary Holden, Donna Revilla, and Judy Thar, all of Michigan; brothers, Allan Harris, Eugene Harris, and Larry Harris, all of Michigan; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 27 at Oakdale Saddle Club.
