Full closures of State Route 120 in Escalon and State Route 4 in Stockton are due this week.
Caltrans District 10 officials reported that extended closures are necessary for Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Railway railroad repairs.
In Escalon, the closure will impact Highway 120 from Brennan Road to the intersection of McHenry and Escalon avenues. Motorists are advised to use Brennan Road to Arthur Road to McHenry Avenue as a detour. The full closure is scheduled from Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 8.
The work in Escalon is also necessitating the closure of the First Street railroad crossing for the duration of the project.
In Stockton, work is scheduled from Friday, July 8 through Monday, July 11 with full closure of Highway 4 at Farmington/Stagecoach Road; motorists are advised to use Mariposa Road as a detour.
