The Escalon Chamber of Commerce will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, July 21 at 9:30 a.m.

The venue will be the Small Town Roots Farmers Market, a new weekly event that is offered from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturdays, at 2996 McHenry Ave., at the corner of Catherine Way and McHenry Avenue.

New this summer, organizers are looking to expand the market each week as new crops come in and new vendors sign up. There is fresh produce, music, craft items, gluten free selections, specialty baked goods and more.

All are welcome to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and enjoy shopping at the market, which will continue throughout the summer.
