Starting off with their first luncheon of the Fall, the Oakdale Women’s Club has announced their special guest speakers, Professor Eduardo Hernandez Chavez and his wife, Ysaura Bernal-Enriquez who will be presenting his Memoriam book, “Elvira” about his mother and her history.

This exciting meeting/luncheon is being held at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club, 243 N. Stearns Road, Oakdale, on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

The luncheon and meeting will begin at noon and be served inside the building by the Country Club staff. Cost of luncheon is $23 per person and the guest speaker’s presentation is included.

The membership of the OWC hopes to see all guests who are interested in this informative program. The goal of the Women’s Club is to start the new year with a “New Beginning, New Mindset, New Focus. New Intentions, New Inspirations, New Opportunities and New Results,” and they hope to see you at the event.
