Michael Sneed has been honored as the 2016 Veteran of the Year for the 12th Assembly District. In his 26 years of service, he was awarded both a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart, and rose to the rank of First Sergeant. “Michael earned some of the highest honors during his 26 year military career, and has continued his commitment to our country by serving our veterans back here at home,” said Assemblymember Kristin Olsen, who presented the honor.
