Business was brisk – with very few slowdowns throughout the morning – as members of the Escalon Sunrise Rotary Club hosted their annual Super Bowl Breakfast on Sunday.

The Feb. 7 event at Escalon High School is a fundraiser for the club, supporting student scholarships, and some members of the Interact Club – the youth arm of Rotary – were there to help out with the breakfast as well.

The made-to-order omelet breakfast has been a hit for  years, with diners filling a cup with their chosen items, with an assortment of fresh vegetables to choose from, in addition to ham and cheese, then the omelet is made, hot and fresh, while they wait. The breakfast also includes biscuits, pastries, fruit and beverages.

A number of opportunity baskets were available, with many diners taking advantage of the chance to walk away with a prize – from sports themed baskets to pet items.

Several members of neighboring Rotary clubs and Rotary District officials also attended to support and enjoy the breakfast.
