Going back over the roadway they just smoothed out by patching over the potholes, a Caltrans crew was watering down this stretch of Highway 120 through Escalon, with work done over several days this past week. Though motorists will enjoy a smoother ride now, the project did cause some traffic tie-ups while the work was being done, roughly between First and Third streets along the highway, with one-way traffic control in effect.
