As they have for many years, the Escalon Sunrise Rotary Club hosted the Oktoberfest gathering, offered this past Saturday at the Escalon Community Center.

Escalon Sunrise Rotary meets each Thursday morning, 6:45 a.m. in the Escalon High School cafeteria. All proceeds raised through the club’s various events help support local, national and international projects.

Beer, wine, German-themed food, music, silent auction items and more were part of the festivities, which drew a large crowd to the Community Center. Among the local participants were the Last Call Brewing Company out of Oakdale, Delicato Family Wines, Bronco Winery, Stuyt Cheese, Roche Brothers Nuts, Save Mart Supermarket of Oakdale and more.

Attendees had the chance to sample a variety of food and drink, mingling and visiting throughout the afternoon and into the early evening.

Shown are some photos from the event.
