Escalon Police Department, 2040 McHenry Ave., Escalon will host a ‘Got Drugs?’ free drop off event on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m., at the police department.

Residents can turn in used or expired medications for safe disposal at no cost.

Those planning to ‘drop the drugs’ are asked to remove pills from their plastic containers, consolidate the pills in a plastic bag and remove all personal information.

The free, safe drug disposal program is offered through the San Joaquin County Public Works Solid Waste Division in cooperation with the local police department. Several sites throughout the county will be hosting events and for additional location information, visit the website, www.SJCrecycle.org.
