Unofficial results from the Stanislaus County Registrar of Voters office show incumbent Herman Doornenbal of Escalon leading in his bid to retain his seat on the Oakdale Irrigation District board. He had a 301 to 268 vote lead over challenger Don Taro in Division 2 in the results reported out shortly before 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. There were two write-in votes as well. Division 2 includes a portion of rural Escalon in addition to OID territory in Oakdale.

In another race with votes cast in both San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties, Valley Home School Board candidates Erin Wells and Mary Beth Carpenter, vying for one seat, each received 75 votes, according to results listed on Tuesday evening.
