Community Flocks To Trunk Or Treat
A little princess and a little mermaid get ready to accept candy from a bigger mermaid, with Robin Hood helping run the game at their Trunk or Treat station.

Escalon Covenant Church was the host site for a festive Halloween Trunk or Treat event, hosted at the church on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Attendees could play games, win candy prizes, enjoy a free hot dog dinner and watch a dramatic presentation by the church youth group, set to music. There were plenty of ‘trunk or treat’ games to play, and church members set up their vehicles in the parking lot, opening their trunks to fill with candy. The free event preceded the actual Halloween holiday, giving families an opportunity to enjoy a night out together in a safe environment if they preferred that to Saturday night’s traditional trick or treating.

Shown are some photos from the special event.
