When the names were announced for Escalon Homecoming King candidates, there was one more than normal. A tie saw six seniors earn the nod for King candidacy, and one will be crowned at halftime of Friday night’s varsity basketball game. The Cougars will play host to the nearby rival Riverbank Bruins as the second half of Trans-Valley League action begins.
