Lifeguards are needed for the coming summer swim lesson and public swim season at Escalon.

If you are interested in applying for this summer job, more information on the American Red Cross training fees, dates and locations are available from the Escalon Recreation Department at 2060 McHenry Ave., or call 691-7372.

Also required as part of lifeguard training is First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22). Applicants must be 15 years of age by the last day of training. Applications for new Lifeguards will be accepted April 1 through 15 only. Passing the above courses does not guarantee a position with the City of Escalon. Swim lesson registration will open for the summer session on Monday, May 2.
