The Board of Directors of the San Joaquin County Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) have announced a leadership transition within the organization.

Keenon Krick is no longer serving as Chief Executive Officer. Board members extend gratitude for his leadership and contributions to advancing CAPC’s mission to support children and families and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.

The Board of Directors has also announced that Shauna Buzunis-Jacob will serve as Interim CEO. She brings over 14 years of experience with CAPC and has been a dedicated member of the organization’s leadership team.

“Her deep knowledge of the organization and strong commitment to its mission position her well to guide CAPC during this transition,” the CAPC stated in a release regarding the interim appointment.

CAPC remains focused on its mission and continues its critical work serving children, families, and the community throughout San Joaquin County.
