The scheduled Thursday, Feb. 3 meeting of the Escalon-Farmington Community Garden Club will be hosted at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon.

Time for the meeting is 1 p.m. and guest speaker will be Nathan Gorth, who will talk about ‘State of the Art Composting.’ Find out how to save, reuse and help save landfills and our air.

There will be a door prize presented to one lucky person, just for attending, and snacks will be provided. There will also be raffles, with ticket purchases helping fund the club’s scholarship program.
