Farmington Follies was held last Wednesday night at the Escalon High School. If you did not see it you missed a wonderful talent show. They started with classes Kindergarten through Fifth grades singing, "It's a Small World After All" and ended the show with the same song. The principal, Mr. Amato showed his talent doing an "Old Man's Dance" along with several of the younger students. There were over 70 participating students performing. Great directing done by Lorie Murphy and Lisa McCune. This event has been held now for six years. Lorie and Lisa are looking for someone to step forward and take the reins for the coming year. They will help in getting someone up to speed, but want them to put their own spin into the Follies. If you are interested, contact Lorie Murphy.

Stopped by Mrs. Gilham's kindergarten class to see if the Leprechauns made a visit on St Patrick's Day. Sure enough they did. The curtains had been closed so no one could see the shenanigans going on inside. The children found little green coins, and very small tea cups that the Leprechauns had drank green tea from. The Leprechauns left several letters for the students to read. One told them they will come back and dance an Irish Jig, and one apologized for the mess they had left. The students discovered green footprints going out the door to the bushes, leaving them to believe that the Leprechauns might be living in the bushes across from the classroom.
