E-Waste Recycling Scheduled April 11
CITY

The next Electronic Waste Disposal Day is set for this coming Sunday, April 11 in Escalon.

Residents can drop off E-waste items at the parking lot of the Escalon Community Center at 1055 Escalon Ave., between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Acceptable E-waste items being collected will include televisions, computer monitors, computer processing units, radios and stereos and microwaves. Also, printers, telephones, fax machines, cell phones and answering machines. Residents can also get rid of small quantities of batteries – no car batteries, though – and mercury devices. The battery and mercury items will be accepted only from residences, not businesses.

For more information about the event or for those with questions about the acceptable items, contact Escalon city officials at 209-691-7422.
