Mark the calendar for Saturday, Feb. 11 and plan to join in the fun – and fundraising – at Escalon Educational Foundation’s Color Run.

A start time of 8 a.m. is scheduled and registration is on now; those who register by Friday, Jan. 13 will be guaranteed a race T-shirt.

This is the first EEF event post-COVID. Participants can choose a one or two-mile loop around Escalon High School with color zones along the way. All fitness levels are welcome for this run/walk. Cost is $25 per person. Funds will help the EEF continue its programs and services to benefit the students of Escalon schools.

Race shirts are being done by Baker Print Co. Volunteers are also being sought and for more information, email April Adams and Kaity French at escaloneducationalfoundation@gmail.com.

Shirt and bib pick-up will be the night before the event, at D’Boni’s Pizza in Escalon, Friday, Feb. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Sponsorships for the event are available at several levels. The $150 Bronze Level allows the company name or your name on the back of the race T-shirt. The $300 Silver Level gets you a large company logo or your name on the back of the shirt and the $500 Gold Level includes a dominating company logo or name on the back of the race shirt, at the top, and registration for two runners.

Those interested in being sponsor are asked to contact April Adams at 209-606-6487 or email her at aadams@esaclonusd.org by Friday, Jan. 20.
