College Offers Free Screening Of Film
MJC 1

The Modesto Junior College Civic Engagement Project (CEP) invites the community to a free screening of the film “Human Flow” on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. in Forum 110 on MJC’s East Campus, 435 College Ave., Modesto. The event is part of the CEP Fall Film and Lecture Series. Campus parking is available for $2 in student parking lots.

“Human Flow” is a visually stunning documentary depicting the desperation that drives millions of people out of their countries in search of safety, security, and justice. Both the personal impact and the massive scale of world-wide human migration are brought to light in this film, which features over 20 countries in its examination of the current refugee crisis, raising important questions about how countries should respond.

A facilitated discussion with an opportunity for questions and answers follows the screening.
