Agricultural Women’s Group Tours AgFest

The San Joaquin Chapter of California Women for Agriculture (CWA) will host a tour for 10 city, county, and state government officials on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the AgFest Junior Show and Auction. Attendees will tour the barns at the Stockton Fairgrounds where sheep, goats, swine, cattle, rabbits, and poultry projects are shown by some of the 950 exhibitors. The students will explain firsthand how they raised their projects and the effort it took to prepare for the nine-day livestock show. Attendees will also have opportunities to interact with and be photographed with the prize-winning animals.

The San Joaquin AgFest Junior Livestock and Auction is an independent event put on by an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the support and promotion of 4-H and FFA, and the future of our children and our nation. CWA is the largest women’s agricultural organization in San Joaquin County dedicated to ag literacy and awareness.
