New parents: fasten your seatbelts and get your cameras ready. You are about to embark on the trip of a lifetime. Doctors Medical Center in Modesto recognizes the path to parenthood is an adventure, and the hospital is helping families of babies born at the hospital mark each moment.

As part of a new program, each baby born at DMC will receive a onesie that reads: “My Adventure Began at Doctors Medical Center.” They will also get a “passport” that includes stamps to help mark baby’s major accomplishments including things like: “First Laugh” and “Slept All Night.” The hospital is also encouraging parents to use the hashtag #BornAtDMC to share their baby’s journey on social media and document each of their milestones to continue the conversation after they leave the hospital.

“Nothing gives us more joy than seeing photos of babies born at DMC,” said Sharon Perry, Director of the Women & Children’s Center at Doctors Medical Center. “This is such a great way for us to follow along on their journey and watch where their adventure leads.”

Doctors Medical Center delivered more than 3,600 babies last year and is honored to have earned the trust of so many parents for their deliveries. This is just one way to thank them for choosing DMC.
