Time is running out to sign up for the upcoming youth soccer season, with registration for all levels closing on Friday, Aug. 6.

Player evaluations and a coach/parent clinic are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7. The player evaluations will be on the grounds at Hogan Field, while the clinic will run from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Community Center. That session is mandatory for coaches and volunteers.

Fees for the soccer program include: $25 for Tots, three- and four-year-olds; $30 for Squirts, five- and six-year-olds; $35 each for the Pee Wee (7- to 8-year-olds) and Minors (9- to 10-year-olds); with a $40 cost for the Majors (11 and 12-year-olds) and Seniors (13 and 14-year-olds).

Divisions are based on participants age as of Dec. 1, 2004.

The youngest players, tots and squirts, do not participate in evaluations but will be assigned to a team for the upcoming season.

Pee Wee evaluations will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 7 with the Minors from noon to 1:30 p.m. Major evaluations are 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Seniors will be evaluated from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Player drafts are planned on Aug. 10, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Pee Wee and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Minors. The Major draft is Aug. 11, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Seniors drafted 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. that day.
