Tommy Dreamer Added To APW Event

Hardcore icon Tommy Dreamer will take the Stockton Civic Memorial Auditorium to the extreme. Friday night, Aug. 18, the former Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) World Champion replaces John Hennigan for All Pro Wrestling (APW) CivicSlam ’17. Hennigan, who was scheduled to compete in the main event, has been pulled from the event to fulfill a contractual agreement with GFW Impact that night.

Dreamer is one of the most celebrated ECW superstars of all time. His feuds with Raven, Sandman, Rod Van Dam and Taz are still some of the most talked about matches in ECW history. The legendary wrestler is currently the owner of House of Horrors Wrestling Promotion on the east coast. There has been no official word on who Dreamer’s opponent will be. Others scheduled to appear include Jeff Cobb, Penta El Zero M, Brian Cage, Willie Mack, Hurricane Shane Helms, Fatu, Marcus Cary Lewis and more.
