The Stockton Ports installed a POW/MIA (Prisoner of War/Missing in Action) Seat of Honor at Banner Island Ballpark and unveiled it on Saturday, June 4 on Military Appreciation Night.

The seat is located at the top of Section 105 and will remain vacant for all Stockton Ports home games to honor and bring awareness to those who have served our country and still remain unaccounted for.

“The installation of the POW/MIA seat is an incredible addition to the ballpark, and it is our privilege to support such a cause,” said General Manager Bryan Meadows. “We know that the seat will not only bring awareness to the matter, but it will also bring people in the community together to pay tribute to our missing service men and women.”

Active military personnel and veterans were on hand Saturday evening to assist in the unveiling, which took place in a pre-game ceremony.
