Escalon’s varsity softball girls will start their 2017 playoff run with a home game on Wednesday, May 17, hosting Orestimba in a 4 p.m. contest. The varsity boys, meanwhile, will head to Billy Hebert Field in Stockton on Thursday, May 18 for a 7 p.m. contest. Both teams were crowned Trans-Valley League champions, the girls finishing at 12-0 in league and 19-4 overall.
