Hitting the course Wednesday for the Trans-Valley League cross country finals, Escalon saw plenty of solid performances.
“Except for one athlete, everyone on the team ran their fastest time of the season for that course,” noted head coach Rick Heflin. “Setting your personal course record on the last league meet is the way to end your season.”
Frosh/soph girls tied for first with Hughson. Since Escalon didn’t have a sixth girl in the race, Hughson won the tie-breaker.
