After having a great summer by competing in four camps, the wrestling Gerber brothers went to the Sacramento City Classic this past weekend and all took home medals representing the Escalon Wrestling Club, EWC.

Griffith Gerber continued last season’s success by taking home gold with Giddeon Gerber taking second and Garrison Gerber taking third.

In other EWC news, Mikayla Vega will be representing USA in the American Kintaro World Team in Japan starting Saturday, Sept. 24.

EWC has been coached in recent months by Atom Garcia, head EHS women’s wrestling coach and Bryan Toy, EHS assistant coach.

The 2016-2017 EWC signups will be at D’Boni’s Pizza on Monday, Oct. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
