Taking home the honors for outstanding offense and defense this season for the varsity baseball Cougars from the recent Sports Awards Night were, from left, Josh Fiori, Ian Burk, Brody Abbott and Lorenzo Teixeira. Fiori had a .395 batting average offensively and, on the mound, had a 1.50 earned run average with 80 strikeouts and just 19 walks. Burk had a .423 batting average and a 3.32 ERA. Abbot compiled a 3.30 ERA with 47 strikeouts and seven walks and had a .408 batting average and slugger Teixeira had four doubles and three home runs to go along with his .344 batting average.
