William Lee Madsen was born to Martin and Millicent Madsen on August 17, 1954.
He graduated to Heaven on February 7, 2019, after a brain disease diagnosis which showed Dementia symptoms. His body was donated to Science Care, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ for research. Bill graduated in 1972 from Worland HS, in WYO. He moved to San Diego, CA with his parents where he enlisted in the Navy. He served as a medic for four years at Oak Knoll Hospital during the Vietnam era. Bill graduated from San Jose State University in 1978 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology.
Bill married Gayle Lynn Ragan in April, 1976, who was the love of his life. Nathaniel James was born March, 1983 and Kristina Marie was born February, 1984. Bill worked at Doctor’s Med Center from 1980 to 2014 as the Chemistry supervisor and Asst. Lab Supervisor. He loved being with family and friends spending time with various sports and traveling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bill’s name to Big Valley Grace Youth Ministries; Mexico Missions and Hume Lake Camp Scholarships.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be March 23, 2019, at Big Valley Grace Church, Modesto, CA. at 10 a.m., reception to follow. Condolences/inquiries may be sent to billm2019@yahoo.com password: memories1954.
