Scott Benson, 52, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Modesto.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1960 in French Camp, CA. He spent his childhood in Escalon and had been a resident of Modesto for the past 30 years. He was a very loving husband, father and Papa.
Mr. Benson enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved his beautiful grandchildren. He was a gun enthusiast and enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Lavonda Benson; his son Julien and wife Kayla of Modesto; grandchildren Braiden, Ashley, and Julien Jr.; his father Donald Benson; and many more family and friends that loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonneta Benson.
Graveside services were held at Burwood Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 15. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: Jesus Saves Ministries, 438 S. Sutter St; Stockton, CA 95203.
