RUTH VIOLA VAN TUINEN
Ruth Van Tuinen passed away on Feb. 28, 2015 in Modesto, CA. She was born Ruth Viola Kleinjan on September 1, 1929 to Arie and Gertrude Kleinjan in Sanborn, IA. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Van Tuinen; sisters, Lucile TenClay and Catherina Kleinjan Benes Monster.
Ruth is survived by her children, Ken (Valerie) Van Tuinen, Bob Van Tuinen, Liz Stannard, Mary Van Tuinen, Ray (Carol) Van Tuinen, Karl Van Tuinen, and Ellen Nibblink. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 12 p.m. with a graveside to follow at Ripon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Hospice. To offer condolences to the family please visit: www.deeganfuneralchapels.com
