Phyllis (Keesen) Beuving, 99, died on Wednesday, Sept. 15.
She was born in Lansing, Illinois on Sept. 13, 1911. She was a longtime resident of Oakdale and Escalon, spending her last 10 years at Bethany Home in Ripon.
She and her husband were charter members of Escalon Christian Reformed Church. She spent her life serving others.
Survivors include her sister, Lillian Swierenga; son Tony and his wife Alice, and son Lauren and his wife Betty; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Beuving.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Escalon Christian Reformed Church.
Graveside Services will be on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. at Burwood Cemetery, River Road, Escalon.
