Pearl Morrill, 87, passed away on December 4, 2016 at her home in Escalon, CA. She was born on Dec. 22, 1928 in Upland, CA to George and Clara Mellor. Pearl has been a resident of Escalon for 64 years. Pearl loved to travel with her husband, Leelan until his passing in 1992 and then continued to travel with her brother, Charles. At home she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be deeply missed.
Pearl is survived by her children: Michael Morrill (Rosanna) of Modesto, Kenneth Morrill, Diane Cordray (Kevin), Glenn Morrill and Wayne Morrill (Jamie) all of Escalon; her brother, Bob Mellor of Sacramento and Charles Mellor of Escalon, along with nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Leelan Morrill, her parents, one brother and a half-sister.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapel. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Deegan Chapel in Escalon followed by a graveside service scheduled for Monday, December 12 at 1 p.m. at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.
