Longtime resident of Santa Cruz, CA, Loren was born in Escalon, CA to Laura and Gabriel Rodoni and passed away at home on his 83rd birthday. He served in the US Navy at Fort Marion during the Korean War, and afterward came to Santa Cruz where he met his wife and raised his family. He worked in construction as an operating engineer for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Florence, daughters Martha (Ron) Dent, Monica Rodoni, and sons, Dan Rodoni and Dale (Sandi) Rodoni, and his two grandchildren, Christopher (Nicole) Morgan and Jenna Rodoni. Loren is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lorena Saretti and brother, Elmer Rodoni.
Our family wishes to thank all the wonderful people at Hospice. In lieu of flowers, contributions preferred to Hospice of Santa Cruz, 940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA 95066. At Loren’s request, there will be no services.
