José Guadalupe Alvarado Vaca, 41, died on July 24 after being involved in a car accident in Tracy.
He was born on Sept. 18, 1967 in Michoacan, Mexico, the son of Alfonso Alvarado Soto and Carolina Vaca Esquivel, and was the eldest of ten children. He and his family were residents of Escalon for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Maria Alvarado; six children ranging in age from 20 years to three months, Arlene, David, Victor, Mariana, Francisco and Daniella.
Mass will be on Wednesday, July 29 at 3 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin Street in Escalon. Burial will be in Michoacan, Mexico.
