Jimzy A. Barry-Day, 73, of Escalon passed away at Manteca Care & Rehab on Friday, March 6 after a short illness.

She was born on February 19, 1936 in Nevada City California. During her life Jimzy enjoyed family gatherings at Christmas time to celebrate her husband's birthday and decorating the Christmas tree. She and her husband enjoyed camping at Clarks Fork, Yosemite and salmon fishing on the Klamath River. Mrs. Day also enjoyed collecting and sharing genealogy information with family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Larry Day of Grass Valley, Leslie Corbin of North Highlands, Jimzy Johnson of Sacramento, John Day of Oregon and Guy Day of Roseville; her brothers, Ben Barry of Nevada City and Tom Barry of El Granada; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wesley A. Day; her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

She loved her family and they loved her. She will be missed.

At her request, there will be no services.
