Donald B. Satoor, 67, of Escalon died Tuesday, May 3 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

A native of Madras, India, he had lived in Escalon for 35 years. He was a welder for various steel manufacturers, including Hogan Manufacturing in Escalon for 14 years.

He was an avid reader whose main interests included WWII and Vietnam, as well as military and naval history. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. His granddaughter Farley Montana Moore was the love of his life.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marie T. Satoor; children, Sandra Satoor-Moore and son-in-law Robert of Escalon, Veronice Satoor of Alameda; sister, Hazel Ubhayaker of England; and one granddaughter.

No visitation.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held at his daughter Sandra's home, 1755 Colombard Court, Escalon, on Saturday, May 14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Private interment.

Remembrances may be made to Alexander Cohen Hospice House, Community Hospice Inc., 7700 Fox Road, Bldg. L, Hughson, CA 95326.
