Dale Lemkuil

Dale Lemkuil, 76, of Escalon died Monday, Sept. 20 at his sister's residence in Oakdale.

Born in Bolivar, Missouri, he had lived in Escalon for four years and prior to that lived in Antioch, California.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Sharpe Army Depot in 1989. He loved to play cards and go dancing and was an avid ballroom dancer. He volunteered for the Escalon Senior Center and enjoyed gardening and baking.

Survivors include his siblings, Georgia Lou Peterson of Lincoln, California and Dicksie J. Woodward of Oakdale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Lemkuil.

A memorial service was held Friday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at Escalon Presbyterian Church. Interment was at Burwood Cemetery, Escalon.
