Charles Lee Gentry, who everyone knew as Lee, passed away peacefully after a long struggle with a lung condition. Lee was the oldest of three children, born to Charlie and Jessie Gentry on August 1, 1944 and passed on August 2, 2019 at the age of 75. Lee grew up in Escalon, CA with his brother Dale (deceased) and sister Karen Coleman.
Lee is survived by his three children, Chuck, Traci and Patrick. Lee’s legacy contains seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lee was a proud Airforce Vietnam veteran who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad and brother. Lee was known for bagging a big brown bear with his bow. In his later years he loved to take monthly day trips to Red Oak Casino.
There will be a military honors graveside service at 11 a.m. on September 6 at Burwood cemetery. There will be a celebration of life after the ceremony.
