William M. 'Bill' Watson, III, 69, died Tuesday, Dec. 18 after a short battle with cancer.
He was a longtime resident of Oakdale and a retired journeyman plumber.
Mr. Watson loved his family, his home, and his Labs - constant companions Molly and Charlie.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley Watson; son, Mike (Karyn) Watson of Escalon; brother, Jere (Anne) Watson; sister, Sanda White; and two grandchildren of Escalon.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tami Watson; and parents, William and Naomi Watson.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 at 12325 28-Mile Road, Oakdale.
