After a successful inaugural night last month, the Escalon Chamber of Commerce will put on its second Farmer’s Market of the season on Thursday, June 9.
Planned on the second Thursday of the month from May through July, this month’s event will run from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the city’s Main Street Park.
Booths will serve up a variety of fruits, vegetables, homemade and handmade items, candy, honey, fresh flowers, crafts, toys and more. There will be some food and beverages available as well.
The Chamber lists ‘boutique items’ and ‘artisanal food’ as being offered, while music will be provided throughout the evening to add some entertainment to the market.
There is no cost to attend and vendor fees are being kept low, Chamber officials said, in order to encourage as many vendors to be a part of the market as possible.
The summer series of market nights is set to conclude on Thursday, July 14 but there could be added events in the park, hosted by the Chamber, on in to the fall.
