Former Escalon Police Chief Mike Borges – who retired at the end of the 2019-20 fiscal year on June 30, signs off from the radio in his office at the Escalon Police Department headquarters to officially close out his career. A retirement breakfast was also hosted for the chief, the gathering staged outside at the McHenry Avenue facility, to keep in compliance with social distancing guidelines. He received some gifts along with retirement wishes.
