Come join the fun on Saturday, Aug. 13 at a family-friendly street festival with kids' activities such as hands-on art projects, science and robotics experiments, musical performances, games, prizes, and more. The ‘Launch the Adventure’ event is to celebrate the launch of the Modesto Children’s Museum public fundraising campaign.

Attendance is free and the festival will be hosted in downtown Modesto on 11th Street between I and J streets, outside the Modesto Children’s Museum building and runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations are accepted, as officials will be kicking off the final fundraising efforts to open the museum’s doors.
